The Australian Aphasia Conference 2010, will be held from the 26-28th September 2010, in Paddington, Sydney.
The conference is a forum for people with aphasia, their families, and interested professionals, to meet and share information and experiences.
Aphasia is a language difficulty caused by damage to the brain.

Aphasia affects every person differently. Some people have only mild difficulties, others have very severe communication problems.
People with aphasia are competent and intelligent, they still have thoughts, opinions and emotions. They can solve problems and still hear and see.
People with aphasia often know what they want to say, but have difficulties getting their messages out.
